California holds a special place at MakoRabco. Our headquarters sit in Carlsbad, and over three decades of building here means we understand California's requirements at a level that only comes from working in the state day in and day out. Seismic engineering standards shape every drawing from the start, coastal wind loads matter across much of the state's storage-heavy markets, and permitting can look meaningfully different from one county to the next. Our structural engineers hold California licensure, and every set of shop drawings carries the seal of an engineer registered in this state, prepared specifically for the jurisdiction it's going into.

We've built for operators from Orange County to the Central Coast to the Bay Area, and no two of those projects have looked alike. The Inland Empire in particular has seen significant self-storage growth in recent years, and it's a region we've watched closely as development activity there continues to pick up.
