Over 6 years in the making, Eucalyptus at Beaumont is now only the 6th facility of its kind in the state of California. Mako Steel responds to economic downturn with the addition of a new Sales Manager.

Mako Steel, based in Carlsbad, California, with additional locations in Jacksonville, Florida, Vancouver, Washington and Washington, D.C., is pleased to announce the addition of Angie Guerin as National Sales Manager. Angie will work in their Carlsbad office in California.

Angie brings an extensive background in Self Storage Construction - having worked closely with Developers, General Contractors, and Architects in this industry over the last 8 years. Mako Steel’s self-storage business continues to grow at a rapid pace and is set to open a new sales office in Washington, DC.

Mako Steel, based in Carlsbad, California, with additional locations in Jacksonville, Florida, and Vancouver, Washington, is pleased to announce that Mark Colwell will head up Mako’s new northeast area office in Washington, DC. Mark’s new endeavor will bring Mako Steel a greater presence in the Self Storage Industry with a title of Northeast Sales & Project Manager.

Mark Colwell has been with Mako Steel for over 5 years and spent the greater part of his life in the northeast. His entrepreneurial mentality and attention to detail is perfect for the start of a new location, especially in a territory that he is so familiar with.

Mako Steel responds to their rapid growth in the self-storage business by hiring 2 employees and promoting 1.

Vivian Sipes was recently promoted to Accounting & Credit Manager, from her former position as Project Coordinator. Vivian has been with the company for over 6 years.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the integrity of accounting transactions, invoicing, and reporting. Because of her efficiency and positive outlook, Vivian is perfectly suited for this position.

In addition, Mako hired Carlos Arias, Project Coordinator. Prior to Mako, Carlos excelled in the various sales and customer service positions he has held. His goal is to ensure that projects remain on schedule with all required materials in place, as well as, providing the highest level of service to our customers with professionalism.

Mako also welcomes, Matt Branco, CAD Technician. Matt brings impressive experience to his new position. He will prepare CAD and custom details as needed for building lines and looks forward to supporting our project and management teams with his creative talent.

Mako Steel’s self-storage business continues to grow at a rapid pace and is set to open a new sales office in Vancouver, Washington.

Mako Steel, based in Carlsbad, California, with an additional location in Jacksonville, Florida, and others nationally, is pleased to welcome Paul Holmes and Beth Holmes to the company. Paul joins Mako to head up the Vancouver office as District Sales Manager as well as Beth, Sales Coordinator.
